Ronald Magnuson

Ronald Magnuson, age 62, of Granite Falls, Minnesota passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, November 23, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from10:30 - 12:00 Noon at the Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Granite Falls. 

Ronald Alan Magnuson was born on September 19, 1962, at the Granite Falls Hospital, the son of Edgar and LaVilla (Kelm) Magnuson. He was baptized and confirmed in his faith at the Granite Falls Lutheran Church. He graduated from the Granite Falls High School with the Class of 1981. 

Ronald was united in marriage to Mary Antonson, gaining a son, Jason. Together they were blessed with a daughter, Ashley. He was a member of the Granite Falls Fire Department Entry Team, retiring after 20 years of service. 

Ronald loved spending time with his daughter, Ashley, son-in-law, Ryan and granddaughter Kaylee as well as other family and friends. He loved being in the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, golfing, camping and playing with his pup, Roxanne. 

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Ashley (Ryan) Luepke of Granite Falls; son, Jason (Kerri) Schuler; granddaughter, Kaylee Luepke; step grandchildren, Landon, Brody and Dawson Schuler; siblings, Johnny (Kay) Magnuson, Sharol (Craig) Opdahl, Steve “Luvy” Magnuson; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and LaVilla Magnuson; grandparents and his faithful pup, Roxanne.

He will be forever in our hearts.
