Robert Johnson

Robert Dean Johnson was born on Feb. 7, 1958, in Willmar, MN, the son of Verner and Elaine (Lietz) Johnson. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith and graduated from Granite Falls High school in 1976.
Robert was a gifted mechanic and machinist. He worked at Verne’s Automotive Shop in Granite Falls and was also a part time employee at Sode’s Performance. He enjoyed tinkering with cars and engines and loved watching different sports.
In the early morning hours of Saturday March 10, Robert was called from this life while a patient at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. He was 60 years of age.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his brothers- Gary (& Linda) Johnson of Rogers, MN and Daniel Johnson of Lakeville, MN; his sisters- Nelda (& John) Metz of Waseca, MN and Donna (& Todd) Rothenberger of Alexandria, MN; 4 nieces & nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother LuVerne and and infant brother Allen.
