Richard "Rich" Nafziger

Richard Howard Nafziger died at his home on Monday, December 15, 2025. He was 74 years of age. Per his wishes, no services will be held.

Richard was born February 11, 1951, the son of Donald & Mary Nafziger in Spring Valley, Illinois. He was baptized in the Presbyterian faith. Rich graduated from Perkin High School in 1969.

Following graduation, Rich served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was honorably discharged in June of 1976. He returned to Illinois and worked for Caterpillar for several years. Rich moved to Minnesota and resided in Clara City where he worked and retired from Donner’s Crossroads in 2015. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his children, Melanie and Jeremy; sister, Kathy Maloney and brother, Daniel; as well as extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
