Margaret Schindler

Margaret "Peggy" Schindler 65, of Granite Falls passed away on Saturday June 13, 2026 at her residence. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Rock in Granite Falls on Tuesday, June 23rd from 1 to 4:00 pm.

Margaret "Peggy" Schindler was born February 5, 1961, the daughter of David Cook and Jeanette Marlow in Granite Falls. She graduated from Canby High School. Margaret moved to Minneapolis for a short time and then went out to Spokane, Washington.

She moved back to Anoka and met Edward Schindler. They moved to Granite Falls in the early 90’s. She worked as an auditor for the casino.

Margaret enjoyed yearly trips to Laughlin, Nevada and fishing on her pontoon boat.

Margaret passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at her home in Granite Falls. She was 65 years of age.

She is survived by her husband Ed, four sons: Jason Burrell, Jeremy Burrell, Tim (Lenora) McRae and William Schindler all of Granite Falls; five grandduaugters; two great grandchildren; sister Carrie (Kevin) Trutna of Granite Falls and several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings: David Cook and Christine Murphy.
