Karen Grams, 84, of Granite Falls passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at the Granite Falls Care Center. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, January 3rd at 11:00 am at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 pm at the church and continue one hour prior to services on Wednesday.

Karen Gail Mohn Grams was born February 27, 1939, in Canby, the daughter of Edgar and Pearl (Rasmussen) Mohn. She was baptized at home on March 31, 1939 and confirmed her faith on November 1, 1953, at Black Oak Lake Lutheran Church near Wegdahl.
Karen grew up in Wegdahl and the family moved to Montevideo in 1955. She graduated from the Montevideo High School in 1957. She attended St. Cloud State College Beauty School and worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company.
She was united in marriage to Charles Grams on December 18, 1960, in Montevideo. They moved to Sacred Heart in 1962, where Charlie taught school. They retired and moved to Granite Falls in 2001.
She is survived her husband Charlie, children: Julie (Rick) Barron of Litchfield, Marc Grams of Chanhassen and Jon (Jess Karlstad) Grams of Marshall; grandchildren: Samantha, Alexis, Tasha, Ethan, Annika, Morgan, Mason, Hunter, and Kayleigh; great grandchildren: Barron, Josie, Adler, Aleni, Wrenlee and Hoclan; siblings: Colleen (Ralph) Werniment of Coon Rapids and David (Dianne) Mohn of Plymouth; and several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
