Henryk Joseph Kuehn was born on November 5, 2018 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of William and Celeste (Borchardt) Kuehn. He was baptized on November 11, 2018 and recently confirmed and received first communion by Rev. Paul Timmerman.
Even though Henryk was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), a heart condition, this did not stop him from living life to its fullest. To know him, you knew he was ever smiling, his happiness radiated from his whole being. The eye twinkle, silliness and genuine bubbly personality was his essence. Henryk had the best facial expressions and was perfecting his joke telling skills with many a captive audience at the dinner table. He was a gentleman with impeccable manners and politeness. His favorite color was red and his best friend was his older brother, James, who together daily attempted to prolong bedtime as long as possible. Henryk loved playing outside, riding his bike and doing crafts including coloring, painting and most importantly suncatchers. Henryk enjoyed dance parties, stories at bedtime, popcorn movie parties with his siblings on the living room floor in their sleeping bags and pretending to be Knuckles from his favorite movie Sonic 2.
Henryk is forever loved by his parents, William and Celeste Kuehn of Clarkfield; brothers and sister, James, Lillian and Lucas; paternal grandparents, William (Julie Resler) Kuehn of Fargo, Mary Kuehn of West Fargo; maternal grandparents, Brian and Lori Borchardt of Belle Plaine; great grandparents, Lenore Moulsoff, Alvin and Jean Borchardt, Melvin and Marilyn Giese; aunts and uncles, Jacinta (Bryan) Riedinger, Stephanie (Brad Gardner) Kuehn, Thomas (Hannah) Kuehn, Tiffany (Justin) Greiner, Bridget (Eric) Bossert, Candice (Brad) Lawson; numerous cousins, as well as other relatives and friends.
