Hayden Tipton

Hayden Tipton, age 21, of Granite Falls, Minnesota passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. Memorial services will be held Monday, August 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Upper Sioux Multi-Purpose Building. Interment will follow at Yellow Medicine Nation Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, one hour prior to the service at the Multi-Purpose Building.
Hayden Anthony Tipton was born on June 19, 2003 to Lynette Duis and Steven Tipton Sr. Shortly after, he and his brother Steven Jr. moved to the home of Kim Christians and together they raised Hayden to be the amazing free spirit that he was. Hayden graduated from Yellow Medicine High School in the year of 2021. He enjoyed fishing and gaming, hanging out with his family (tiyospaye).
Hayden was preceded in death by his birth mom, Lynette Duis; his grandmothers, Antonette Duis and Lydia Tipton, Grandma Jo; grandfather, Dale Luepke and other loving family (tiyospaye).
Hayden was blessed with many siblings: Ahmya, Steven Jr., Lyric, Angel, Raymoni, Olivia, Kayden, Skylah and Skyler; family (tiyospaye) siblings: Aaliyah, Andrew, Tabatha, Cory, Cameron, Gabriella and Mercedes.
He has many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends by whom he will be missed. Hayden’s spirit was a free one…and his heart huge.
