Dianne Klein

Dianne Klein, 74, of Spicer, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 1st at 10:30 am at Bergen Lutheran Church. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am on Friday at the church.

Dianne Marie Klein was born in Granite Falls on March 7, 1952, the daughter of Eldon & Betty (Kennel) Peterson. She graduated from Granite Falls High School and continued her education at Alexandria Tech, where she received her nursing degree.

Dianne was united in marriage with Daniel Klein at Bergen Lutheran Church. They raised their family in Willmar. She was an LPN for Rice Memorial Hospital for 39 years. She had a passion for nursing and enjoyed getting together with her co-workers for lunch. Dianne and Dan enjoyed many camping trips and going on scenic drives. She loved getting together with her family and especially spending time with her four grandchildren.

Dianne is survived by her husband Dan, sons: Mike (Lacey) Klein of Montrose and Matt (Ashley) Klein of New London; grandchildren: Elizabeth, Hunter, Aubrey and Willow; siblings: Duane Peterson of Watkins and Denise (Brent) Severson of Niceville, Florida; and several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Eldon & Betty Peterson, brother David and sister-in-law Kathy Peterson.
