Before ever meeting Bill, Barb knew from the moment she saw him, she told her best friend, “Someday I’m going to marry that man.” Their official introduction came at Gladys’ Ballroom while roller skating. On October 2, 1949, Barb was united in marriage to William Homan at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Montevideo.

The couple made their home in Montevideo and were blessed with seven children, William, Keith, Kevin, Angela, Todd, Jeanna and Deron. Above all, Barb was a born again, spirit filled Christian.
