Anthony Blue

Anthony Blue, 44, of Granite Falls, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st at 10:30am at the Upper Sioux Multi-Purpose Building. Visitation will begin on Sunday at 6:00 pm and continue until the time of the service on Monday at the Multi-Purpose Building.

Anthony James Blue was born on April 28, 1982 at Saint Francis Hospital in Shakopee, Minnesota. He grew up with his Grand Parents Sara and Larry Blue and attended school in Granite Falls. He graduated class of 2000 from Eci’ Nompa Woonspe High School in Morton, Minnesota.

Anthony passed away on Saturday, September 12, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale Minnesota from complications stemming from gall bladder removal Surgery. He was 44 years of age.

Tony enjoyed, shopping, writing letters, cooking, helping people, engaging in political discussion, attending concerts and spending time with friends and family. He had a black cat named Mad Cat that he loved dearly. He liked to fall asleep listening to missing 411 national park videos on YouTube. He touched a great many people’s lives and will be dearly missed.

Tony Blue is survived by his brother Dominick Knutson, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tony is preceded in death by his Mother Sandra Blue-Knutson Coursole, and his Grandparents Larry and Sara Blue.
