Sherri Stamps Funeral Director - Owner
Sherri was born in Dawson and her family later moved to Montevideo before ending up in Little Falls where she graduated in 1996. She attended the University of Minnesota and obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Mortuary Science. After graduating, she began her career with the McBride Funeral Chapels in Glencoe, MN where she found her passion for funeral service. Sherri married Duane Stamps and they have two children, Josiah and Svea. Sherri loves being a Mom, quilting, crocheting, house projects, coffee and visiting with others.

Duane Stamps Owner
Duane was born in Paynesville and later his family moved to Buffalo Lake where he graduated. After high school, he began working at Plato Woodwork making custom cabinets and was there for over 30 years before starting a new career alongside his wife, assisting with funerals and helping manage the funeral homes. Duane enjoyed being single until 2007, when he married Sherri and together they have two children, Josiah (9) and Svea (7). He enjoys woodworking, fixing up the house, refereeing from home T.V. sporting games and watching his children in their activities.

Everett Bain Funeral Director
Everett H. Bain graduated from Montevideo Senior High in 1974. He began his 43 year career in funeral service with Dick Wing in 1975 and was a graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Mortuary science in 1979. He is currently a full time funeral director with Wing-Bain Funeral Homes and Deputy Coroner in both Yellow Medicine & Chippewa Counties. He is the current Worshipful Master of Sunset Masonic Lodge #109 and Commander of the Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 59.
Everett is a strong supporter of our military, our veterans and serves as Road Captain for Post #59 American Legion Riders. He enjoys motorcycling, golf, hunting, fishing and is a lifetime member of the NRA. A true dedicated professional, Everett places his calling as a Funeral Director as his first priority and looks forward to serving those in need in Granite Falls, Montevideo, Clara City, Maynard and the surrounding communities. -
Joseph Anderson Funeral Director
Graduate of Rockwell City High School, attended Iowa Central Community College and graduated from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science. Licensed Funeral Director and active with the firm since 1993. Joe and with his wife Savanna have two adult sons, Josh (Bri) & Colton (Jenna) and six grandchildren.

Anna Pieper Administrative Assistant
Anna was born in Willmar, Minnesota. She grew up on a farm near Clara City with her parents, Philip and Lanae and her sister, Katie. Anna went to school for cosmetology and began working at Wing-Bain Funeral Home in 2019 where she enjoys helping the community she calls home. Currently she is living on her family owned farm with her boyfriend, Jon and their two dogs, Deja and Lily. Anna loves baking, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Emily Olson Funeral Intern
Emily was born and raised in Montevideo and graduated from Montevideo High School in 2018. Following that she attended South Dakota State University for 3 years before transferring to the University of Minnesota. In 2022 she graduated with her degree in Mortuary Science. Emily moved back to Montevideo to work for and support her community. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog Nordy, golfing, baking, and bowling. Emily is also a Certified Funeral Celebrant and serves on the Board of Directors for the Montevideo Chamber of Commerce.
